There are two spring loaded grinding wheels (Coarse & Fine) which apply controlled pressure to the blade of the knife.
The grooves in each section hold the knife at a 15º angle giving you as perfect cutting edge. Chefs knives, Steak knives & serrated knives can be sharpened perfectly
